Kind-hearted and helpful.
My service experience with Cape Cargo so far has been horrible. I received a call Monday evening informing me my package was due to be delivered between 10 and 2 on Tuesday. No advance notice but I made arrangements to take a vacation day and sat around on Tuesday till 2:30 when I called. I was told the driver was a few miles away and he would be there shortly. 5:30pm and no delivery. I called today and was told "there's nothing I can do for you, don't know what to tell you"?? That is service? I still don't know where my package is or when it will be delivered. Very unprofessional and their customer service is horrible.
I can't speak to how they pack as the packing and crating was done by another company. Cape Cod Cargo did call the day before the delivery date, delivered within the time frame I was given, which was a four hour window, and the driver did give me a call 30 minutes before he reached my house. I was told the latter would happen, so I was pleased that it occurred. The only difficult thing was that the driver could only bring the crated item to my front porch, however I had been told the previous day that the driver could bring the item into my house. My item was huge and mounted on a wooden pallet with wood structural support. SO be aware that delivery is only as far as the front door. That is the only negative about this company. I would give Cape Cargo 4.5 stars
