I don't know where to start other than customer service. First we got a *sigh* from the hostess when we asked for the window shade to be pulled down since the sun was beaming off of the table we we're being placed at. The waitress herself seemed miserable. No happiness, no how are you today, no enthusiasm. She then proceeded to ignore my child when he asked to place his order. At the end She placed the check on the table without a word. Not even Thank you have a nice night! All that came across from her person was I don't wanna be here. So much so that it made it so we will not be returning to this location. Customer service is everything. Even though for some reason the food was very greasy , had the customer service been great we still could have had a good experience. You could have the best food on Earth but if the people presenting the food are not willing to make an effort with the guests it brings down the whole place. So sad. We used to love Friendly's. Now it's hard to see why they even have that name.
The worst food ever! Fish sandwich was gray, limp, and loaded with tartar sauce. Cheeseburger was charred. My son spit it out. Waited 5 minutes to be seated. The ice cream was the saving grace.
Delicious food and super quick! Had the most amazing, customer-focused waitress to boot; extremely friendly (no pun intended) and very well organized. She was so on top of things that she almost seemed to be reading our minds.
The food is alright. Some staff are good, some aren't. My last visit was on a slower night. The waitress took our order, was slow to refill, slow to get our food (we had a view of the finished food under the heat lamps) and she was on her phone or chatting away right behind the wall. While I don't expect complete attention, work responsibility awareness should be expected.
When we went there on Saturday night, we were greeted by... No one. There was no hostess at the front. There was a person working at the ice cream counter, but she went to great lengths to not acknowledge us, as did the waitress that came out to drop off something at a table. Nearly every single table was dirty (dishes and food left over) with about 4 tables actually seated. Our waitress forgot a drink in our order and didn't give us enough straws or silverware. Our food did arrive in a timely manner, but again, our waitress forgot part of the order and openly admitted to not knowing which sandwich was which. We were not offered refills or checked up on until some of the plates were cleared away and desserts offered. Our 3 year old asked for his ice cream to NOT have any whipped cream on it... There was whipped cream. Honestly, we will never go back again, it's worth the drive to Hyannis, Plymouth, or Wareham, to get food. I'd give zero stars if I could, the gas station across the parking lot would've been a better choice.
